I don't know if someone has already corrected this person and I am shocked that the owner's of this Wine Bar would not know how to spell the enclave in which they chose to open their restaurant but the little town is called HAMPDEN not Hamden.
I just thought I should correct such a huge mistake.
Nonetheless, I will check this cool-looking place out.
Cheers.

Just a quick note, for those of you who have already read this post, Peter Keck, the GM at 13.5% Wine Bar, kindly corrected me on the wine. I unfortunately had “chicken scratched” my notes at dinner and when I wrote this post, evidently couldn’t read my own handwriting! The wine was a Clos la Coutale 2006, Merlot/Malbec from the Village of Cahors in France. They are currently serving it by the glass. Sorry for the misinformation!

Panini plates were more than enough...the Spicy Napoleon stack was small. I went to a wine bar over the weekend where the corkage was $10...so I think it's still in the ball park. I liked the flavor combinations especially for wine. I would give it a 3 outta 5. Will definitely go back! Totally worth the visit!

Just read your review and E.Large's on Tuesday. She said that the portions were small for the price. Did you feel that way? Corkage is $8 compared to Grand Cru's $5. I'm still going to check it out, how can I not so close to home....
