Breville GiftAway

Here it is!!  Yes, we promised you that we had a special GiftAway coming…and here it is!  We have shared with you before just how special this machine is to us!  So, special that yes, we admit it, we took it on the road with us across the USA!
I know, I know, it’s a bit over the top!  But, you have to understand, my husband and I owned a coffee shop.  We are so dedicated to a good cup of coffee that we even backpacked our own beans and a press with us through China!  Priorities people!  When we stumbled on this gem of a machine three years ago, it quickly found a place in the family!  Our 15 year old has even mastered a killer pull.

  15. Cana Morningstar says:

We’d pack up the fam and take a very over due trip to the west coast,…along the way seeing sights in UT Badlands, Redwoods eventually making it to Seattle. And Id go to Seattle’s “best” with a bag of Moonrise coffee, pull em’ a shot with the Breville and let them know if that’s the best coffee Seattle has to offer!

  16. Wow. I can’t believe you took your espresso machine on a road trip! That’s awesome! I guess we’d take ours on a road trip to visit our military-family since we’re all spread out.

  17. Laurie says:

We would pack the car and take a reverse trip of our adventure from Miami to Minneapolis. Stopping along the way in Oskalossa, IA to see Gramps, St Louis to see the Arch, Memphis for BBQ, Nashville for the Country Music Hall of Fame, New Orleans for a good time and on to Miami to laugh with family and friends!

  20. Since I live in NC, and my husband lives in NY because of his employment, I would take it on a road trip to NY. Both my husband and I are coffee/espresso addicts, and taking this Breville on a road trip would keep us awake, alert and HAPPY! Thanks for the opportunity to win it! Cheers! C[_]

  27. Kate says:

  28. Aaron Bonnell says:

First, I would pretend that I live in the USA and not Kristin’s brother..then I would stuff it in my suitcase (hopefully avoiding customs and a stiff 17.5 percent VAT penalty) and take it back to England.

  29. janelle says:

i would take it with us on a long desired trip hubs and i have wanted to take…get on the road and see where it takes us. no plans, no pressures, just enjoying what we find on the way! oh, and also would take it with me when i visit my sister in missouri…who has a small standard coffee pot in which she brews her half-caff folgers. it is truly a sin i am sure!

  30. Elizabeth says:

Someday I know Ned and I want to do the napa and sonoma valley and stop at thomas keller’s restaurants so we would take it there with us!!

  31. Nate says:

We live in Wisconsin and I’d take a road trip with my wife and son from here to Glacier Park in Montana. It’s a place we went when I was very young and I’d love to make some new memories there with my family. Along the way, we’d have to stop in the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, and in Iowa to see the places where my wife and I were born! Of course, we love our local coffee shop and would have to make our first stop there to stock up on a few select blends of Alterra Coffee

  32. Pete Dirksen says:

I would take it to Vegas….because where else do you want to be up all night on an espresso high?

  33. Natalie says:

  35. marissa says:

hmm, no road trips are in the works as of yet. next one would be to colorado probably. i would make coffee for new people i meet, since i don’t really drink coffee that much. but coffee is such an easy way to meet others!

  36. Scott says:

Austin, TX. With all the great live music, who has time to sleep? With the Breville, we wouldn’t have to.

  37. Regina says:

Hand on handle, my Breville buddy and I would head south for Star Hill Farm in Loretto, KY. It’d be a southern fried road trip, ending at the bottom of a red waxed dipped cognac glass courtesy of Maker’s Mark distillery! From Baltimore to Loretto, my Breville will keep me keyed up and warm on this high octane Gone South typ road trip.

  38. rachel e. says:

I’d take my Breville on our road trip to southwest missouri! Need lots of caffeine for that loooong trip.

  39. CC says:

I’d take my Breville with me on two road trips: the first from my current home in Chicago to my parent’s home in Wichita, which is a looong 12 hour drive through the less interesting parts of Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. The second would be on my “hope to be able to afford this in the near future” road trip down the east coast from Maine to Florida.

  40. Mandingo Thermometer says:

I Mandingo would take my space monkey and Breville espresso maker on a time-travelling sojourn through a wormhole into the annals of history. We would visit the 1950′s and become original Beatniks. While sipping our coffee, we will learn new words and develop unique speech patterns, all the while becoming more street-wise and hip.

  41. I’m A Traveling Coffee Caterer Barista/Roaster I Would Take My Machine With Me At All My Catering Events, & Also When I Travel To Do PAN Roasting Events. 46. Troy says:

Backpacking in Superior MN, we to love coffee so much our portable french press is always at the top of our equipment list along with our stove. I can see us plugged into the shower building at Split Rock State Park with our Breville after a morning shower, just before leaving base camp for the day. Just think of all the friends we would make in the morning with the great smell of coffee/espresso from the Breville. What a way to start the day, and finish a long day of hiking!! Coffee/Espresso and new friends. Then after returning home to go back to work, I would take the Breville to work. Great coffee/espresso is the mainstay of any person’s diet who works midnight during Minnesota winters. A Breville would be put through the paces and find a great home with us!!!

  47. roopa says:

I would pack some Zeke’s beans and road trip down to Baltimore – I know its not far from NYC (where I live), but it’s where my husband lives and if he’s not here, then I’m going there.

I actually put an espresso machine on our wedding registry but then I felt bad and removed it – my husband isn’t a coffee drinker (crazy, I know!) so I just got a Bialetti stovetop maker, but I still want a proper machine…

  48. Michelle Pratt says:

The road trip I would plan with my Breville would be to Greenville, SC. My best friend just moved there and, like you, I must bring my own beans when I travel … I might as well bring the machine along, too. I hope I win. We used to own a coffee shop, too, and our family thinks we are n.u.t.s. because we’re so particular about coffee/espresso.

  49. Tom Pratt says:

I’d take the espresso machine and my wife to Florida so my wife would quit complaining about the cold up north!

  50. Jessica says:

My hubby and daughter and I would pack up and head out to Washington state to see my very best friend and her hubby! I know they would appreciate us bringing the Breville with us!

  51. TraciJ says:

I would take the Breville on a roadtrip to OHIO to see my family this year for Christmas!!!

  52. Deb Ochsendorf says:

The Breville would come in handy when SCSU alumni take the trek back up to St. Cloud State Minnesota. We’ll try to fool our bodies and minds that we can keep up with the college “kids” (thankfully being jacked up on Breville espresso!)

  53. Bridgette says:

I would take that wonderful machine with me to New Orleans…where nobody ever sleeps!

  54. We will take it to Argentina with us, then use it to serve all the kids in the youthcenter. Thanks for your hospitality. It’s a pleasure to get to know you guys!

  55. Missy Lawton says:

I would tie this machine to the back of my 4 wheeler, go through the deep creek (you know the one), ride down the rocky road and into a place of serenity. A place where coffee belongs. Hope it doesn’t rain!

  56. Jessie says:

My husband and would pack up ourselves, my big pregnant belly, and our dogs for a trip to Portland to see our good friends, Justin and Erin. They are coffee snobs, and I bet they would welcome us even more warmly than usual if we had a Breville in tow!

  57. Tom Madden says:

I will hook it up to a car battery in my fish house for the annual ice fishing trip with 10 of my friends. We’ll all need the help to get us going in the mornings and keep us going in the evenings. We will photograph it for you and report our successes thanks to the Breville.

  58. Valis says:

I would pack the breville in my spacious backseat, put my wife in the front, and head down to see some close friends in phoenix. They are also caffiends (our word for coffee fanatics) and we could enjoy some hiking with fresh-brewed espresso and then evening pool relaxing with espresso martinis.

  59. Andy Ellis says:

I would take this with me all over the country when i went to debate tournaments. Debate is a coffee intense activity and the coffee provided by college kids with industrial urns is worse than royal farms at like 11:oo AM. So i would take this to places like Carrolton Ga, Binghamton NY, Clarion PA, Danbury CT, and if we went to Manhattan i could take it on the street and make enough to pay for the hotel rooms!

  60. The husband and I have to make a roadtrip from LA to Cleveland next Spring to “remove our treasures” from our parents’ homes. This would be a perfect travel companion (since we wouldn’t have to make pee or walk stops for it). And since neither of us can stomach Starbuck’s, we’d actually be able to have some very fine caffeinated beverages to fuel us on our journey.

  61. Not really a world traveler but I am a coffee lover and with the holidays on the way, I’d be sure to bring to it all holiday gatherings I attend.

  62. Karen says:

I would take the Breville with me to work everyday. Since our work machine is gross.
Also Breville would go with me on the family vacation.

  63. I would take home up the California cost with me for Christmas and make fresh brewed espresso for the whole family as their Christmas present!

  64. Diana says:

Blue Ridge Mountains camping, here we come! (Ok, maybe in the spring…) And after that last fling in the wild, time to settle down at my husband’s office at Johns Hopkins — ever since his second-hand (rescued from the trash and then repaired) Krups died a year ago, he’s refused to allow anyone to buy him anything as pedestrian as a Mr. Coffee (Gawd forbid!) What a loverly Christmas gift it would make for the darlin’ coffee snob! (oops. Sorry to the coffee snobbish club above…) (Anyways, you know where I’D be getting my coffee brewed when I visited him at work (and it wouldn’t be the One World Cafe, either!)) Thanks for the fun!

  65. cj garcia says:

I would head to Jemez Pueblo, NM and breathe in the crisp mountain air while I enjoy a cup of precisely brewed java and yummy warm biscochito cookies baked in an authentic “horno” indian oven. the perfect road trip begins and ends in “The Land of
    Enchantment”

  66. Amy Jo says:

I know next summer my family has a trip planned to go to Colorado and the Grand Canyon… I would definitely be bringing this delightful machine along, the females of the family (myself, my mother and my sister) would very much benefit from a daily cup, or maybe it is the men who would benefit more…

  67. Hey, LoveFeastTable, this is so awesome! Bless you guys! I know the contest is to share where I would TAKE the Breville, but honestly, I can’t think of a better place than to serve right from my kitchen. There is a spot on my counter where I’ve been envisioning the machine. I can see myself serving those whom God brings to my door.

  68. Shannon Crandall says:

Being geocachers, I’d do a non-stop trip to all of the continental states I have none found a cache in yet. That means going up to New England, and to pretty much everything west of the Mississippi. We’d take the back roads. I am most excited to eventually see Maine, Montana, Arizona, Washington and Alaska!

Thanks kids! This will be so appreciated if I win!

  69. Art says:

I’d take a Breville on a road trip to the West Coast. I’ve never been to SoCal… and what could be better than SoCal AND great coffee!!!

  70. Renee Libby says:

I’d pack up my Breville and head north to New England in either summer or fall. I used to spend time on Martha’s Vineyard with a friend’s family, so after driving to MA, I’d hop the ferry, Breville in tow, and head over to the island. Perfect trip.

  71. Mark Scrivano says:

I would take the Breville on a trip up to Acadia National Park and watch the sun rise with a very fresh double espresso.

  72. snobound says:

I’d plan a road trip to Kentucky with it – ’cause even God loves a good cuppa!

  73. Annette says:

Lovefeast Table, I thought when I read your blog the first time about taking your Breville on the road with you was great. I absolutely loved the pictures that were taken everywhere. I think a calendar should be made! :) I would take my Breville with me when my husband takes me to the woods. The coffee I get on those trips do not even compare to what the Breville would be able to provide for me! Thanks again!

  74. Dani Davis says:

Schnikeys!! How COOL are you!!! lol… I would grab my Breville and hit the road back to Cali so my daughter can see where she was born… we’ve been meaning to for the last 6 years now, and methinks this most awesome machine would be just the thing to get us there!!! lol… I may just even bust it out when we road trip it down to the small farm we may be moving to soon… (crosses fingers) :)

You guys are seriously AWESOME!!! I love this!! ~ Dani<3

  75. Vernona Joe says:

I would plan a trip to Colorado with my husband and somehow get him up this great little rocky slope and into this tiny little cave where I would give him the perfect cup to enjoy while gazing at Garden of the Gods in his most favorite “happy place” in the world.

  76. Shandela says:

I would take my Breville to visit my family in Missouri, so I could make a great Caramel Macchiato with Extra Bold Starbucks Espresso since htey don’t have a starbucks in their town.

  77. Kate says:

Those photos make me laugh, because when I worked on a boat, we used to plug our electric coffee maker into a lamppost on the pier. Looked pretty silly. But I would take my Breville down to where my boyfriend is sailing (from Maine to Maryland) and make him an Americano!

  78. Andrea Gates says:

We’re planning a long weekend road trip to the mountains of Colorado to ski/snowboard with the family & I’m sure a few teenage friends (Ian & Helena) this spring. As we’ll be staying at a family condo on the mountains we’ll need to make our morning coffee/espresso each day, so the Breville Espresso Maker would be the perfect accessory to take. Waking up with the sun shining off the snowtop mountains sipping the perfect cup of espresso to start the mornings… what a life! Of course finishing the evening with a nice HOT cup (with a shot of Baileys) too doesn’t sound so bad either!

  79. Jessipeakah says:

I would take the Breville on a road trip to the yukon. (close to Alaska) Everyone knows that polar bears don’t know good coffee.

I am actually considering driving my mother from Michigan to Florida this March. This would be a wonderful trip to take and having a fabulous cup of coffee would make it even better!

  84. Sarah Scrivano says:

I would drive out to Montauk Point on the east end of LI with the Breville riding shotgun. When i got there i would enjoy a nice americano while sitting on the rocks watching the fishing boats go out at sunrise.

  85. Jane says:

I’d take my Breville to Mexico. Americans would pay big for a good cup of coffee while on vacation.

  86. Jason says:

I would take my Brevilla with me on a drive to Yosemite :)

  87. Ms Pink says:

I would take my Breville to Washington with me and drive all the way down the coast to San Diego…DH and I have been trying to plan this for years – our 4 children however keep us here for now :)

  88. Justin says:

I’d bring Breville to the mountains of upstate New York! A scenic overlook would be the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

  89. tanyarejoyce says:

I would take my Breville on an all-girls trip to my friend’s cabin in Idaho.

need to take it too put a rocket engine to it and fly it too the moon, or just put it in my kitchen where it would help me get the kids off to school everyday.

  96. Terrill says:

Have to go East first to stop at Lovefeast folks to show me how to pull the best shot and then head slowly cross country visiting wonderful alpaca farms and introduce them to a good cup of coffee while having interesting conversations. Then fly it home in my carry on (I can only take so much driving!) and enjoy a daily reminder of wonderful people and coffee!

  97. Kelly says:

I would take my Brev everywhere I go!

    Mmmmmm loving it!! c(_)

    @spreadingJOY

  103. Patty Townley says:

I would take my Beville on the road to some of my favorite Colorado mountain destinations (Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, Crested Butte) and discover some new ones. I would share God’s blessing with the unfortunate (those who are settling for campfire coffee) and the world would be a better, more pampered place!

  104. If I had a Breville I would never leave home, I’d be so content! You’d find me each day greeting “her” with a happy smile. (She’d need a name and become my best friend.) We’d share our mornings together, whispering over an artisan coffee. After the morning togetherness, “she’d” receive a gentle non-abrasive cleaning and a place of honor on the kitchen counter.

We’d meet again for our afternoon latte, staring into each others eyes. I’d look lovingly at “her” and remind her how special she is to me. She’ll talk to me in that sound only a Beville can make-and I’d be waiting with listening ears.

Within a day, we’d have nicknames for each other-I’ll call her “Bev” and she’ll call me “addict.”

Waiting with open arms for Bev to join me in my California home. {{HUGS}} from a-Latte-Mom

  114. Julie says:

I would take it on a road trip right to my kitchen!!

  115. I was just thinking about your post this week as I was packing to go to Austin/San Antonio for the week. I looked at my coffee machine and thought, should I bring that. They took theirs? So I’d put it in the car and take it with me. Love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

We love the ritual of making it together and sharing some relaxing talk time to enjoy our shared efforts. He’ll be deployed in March.. I’d love to then give it to him for his F18!!! :) Thx!

I enjoyed a short trip across PA towards the Catskills this summer. I wouldn’t mind doing that again, delving a bit deeper and lengthening it to include the Adirondacks in NY. Then again, I have wanted to cross the country again and visit the Grand Canyon. Either of those trips would be a riot photographing a coffee maker along the way. Like Flat Stanley or that friendly garden gnome! LOL Just dreaming!

  133. Judith Greenberg says:

We’d take the Breville on all our travels througout the southwest. We might even try to find a way to take it on some motorcycle trips!

    What a wonderful giveaway!

Where would I take it? The in-laws. For sure. They are coffee fanatics, and perhaps traveling with my own special machine would get me some points. I really, realllly need points.

  138. Devin Odean says:

I would take it to the middle east or India (still not certain about the ethnicity of the kids in that vision) and become the communal spot to hang out and talk, share a laugh, have dinner whatever… all over a cup of great coffee. (And while I’m in the U.S… take it to Wilkens Ave in Bmore and hand em out)

  139. Devin Odean says:

I am going to take a road trip, but not exactly a road trip. I want to take a train trip, with only as much luggage as I need, a fancy espresso machine, meeting as many people along the way, and eating and talking during all hours of the day.
