oh I forgot the most important thing! sometimes , I just get to excited!
Passion: Cooking for family and friends, can hardly wait to get home from work to cook, I cannot wait to get our daugter settled into bed so that I can pour over cookbooks, cooking magazines , unless I’m completely into a great book
Unique? As much as I love working and playing in the kichen, I’m not that much fun “during the process” oh but once the dinner is complete and on the table ahhhh then I breath! Otherwise, I think I’m alot of fun!
Inspires? I’m inspired everyday by learning how to be in the world through watching our 7 year old, simply being …

Passion/s: people, seeing life transformations in people, travel,coffee and conversation, cookbooks,food,organic and sustainable industries, creativity of others and enabling them to pursue that, apacas and fiber, above all else family and Jesus.
Unique: lived in Greece at 17 and assisted doing hair transplants.
Inspires: people, the downtrodden and broken inspire me – everyday to make a difference. fresh snowfall and early fall leaves, sunset and sunrises, colours of alpaca fiber and chicken eggs, smiles of dirty kids on the streets of Mexico. My girls random telephone calls just to say hi.

2.) Passion: baking, reading cookbooks and recipes online and studying the food photography and talking to people about foods they make and the “stories” behind them. I am a serious nut about baking cheesecakes and have made so many different kinds that I have lost track of how many. It’s what I’m “known for” around here and I have been lucky enough to cater cheesecakes to a few gradutions and a wedding. That is what my blog is about–lots and lots of sugar!

3.) I LOVE to ride my motorcyle! I mean, it’s one of my very favorite and most empowering thing I do. My dream retirement is to ride my motorcycle across the U.S. (and internationally if I’m really blessed) and visit local food places like restaurants, markets, produce gardens, bake sales, etc. and write about the experiences and tell people’s stories. Along the way, I’d like to volunteer at soup kitchens and women’s shelters.

4.) Really BIG commercial ovens, mixers, refrigerators and mixing bowls INSPIRE me! (not that I have any of those, but I love them!)
