It is set during WWII and told entirely in the form of notes or letters. You will love the characters – very unique and funny – plus it is a love story as well. It really is an EXCELLENT book!!

I’ve been trying to find Bringing Home the Birkin on audiotape. I may have to give up and just go with the book.

I read it in 2 days! I also really enjoyed A Discovery of Witches, which is almost like Harry Porter for grown ups.

It’s a fictional account of Ernest Hemmingway’s first marriage to Hadley Richardson. They lived in Paris for years. Truly one of the best books I have ever read. Her prose is so spare and every word counts. I was sorry when I came to the last page. Now I want to rush off and read lots of Hemmingway.
