How cute! Do you ever go to the antique stores in Buffalo? I love those knobs!

When we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago, I decided to keep the counters clear and stash everything in cupboards and drawers. But then I realized my kitchen no longer felt like my happy place. So, gradually all the important little things that make me smile (ie. the bottom of an old cookie jar a friend gave me when she moved away. I’ve got wooden tools in it now. And, the old wooden shoe stretcher my mom used for holding a recipe card.)came out to the counter-tops. Now my kitchen is my happy place once again. Thanks for sharing photos of your favorite room. They make me smile.

Going to the occasional sales in Buffalo is on my list, but haven’t gotten there yet! The knobs in Kristin’s kitchen are from Anthropology if I remember!! -Chris Ann

I love your kitchen… it is full of memories and items that have lots of history ;) Just yesterday I was thinking that our house is too cold, not personal enough… because we are always thinking it is not our house, just renting, we will make our house in the future the way we want to. It’s high time to change it and make it warmer… more like real home, even through it just temporary place ;)
