My dad gave me a vintage silver spoon handle, turned key chain years ago…with my initial on it. It reminds me of my dad every time I look at it.

That Anthropologie mug alone would have been fantastic, but the handmade cozy makes it that much sweeter. One of my nieces sent me a “World’s Best Aunt” mug and, being 3000 miles away from them, brings her that much closer every morning.

Totally a priceless gift! I got a silver spoon ring from the sixties with my initial already in it. It has totally elevated my feeling of life. When I drive, I see it, and get happy that I finally have some jewelry that feels so much like me!

Those types of gifts always mean SO much more than something someone just buys in a store (not that I’m knocking the Anthropologie–it’s so beautiful!). Just imagine the time and thought it took for her to make that…now that’s true love for a mama 😉
