We’re so excited to share with you a bit of what we found at the New York City Market for Home + Lifestyle. And, we had another look at some treasure we still think fit nicely into the LoveFeast esthetic. For instance the heirloom worthy, Provence Platters made out of vintage wine barrels will never go out of style. We found woven velvet pillows of pristine quality that will blend seamlessly with our Velvet Plush Pumpkins. And, other treasures and gifts that will make you ooh and ahh. We’re working hard to load them up in the shop.

But here is a sneak peak of what’s to come in 2015 in LoveFeast Shop!

Here’s a teaser to please our velvet Plush Pumpkins fans!! We’re going to be having beautiful, exquisitely made woven velvet throws and pillows that will blend seamlessly with our velvet pumpkins! They are heavy and cozy, luxurious and soft. Best of all they are going to look lovely nestled in with velvety pumpkins!

We’re going to call the word on the new bird. We think the penguin is the new sparrow, or owl. This sturdy iron pal is the perfect friend for your door, bookcase, corner or table. This the bird for 2015.

We will never get tired of Art that inspires and quotes that remind us of what is important.

Who can resist a dapper rabbit. Not us. We think this bowl filled with golden eggs, or Velvet Acorns and later small velvet pumpkins will make this spring decor piece work all year long.

Not to long ago we featured a post on the Vintage Marquee Lights from LoveFeast Shop. These rustic vintage lights are one of our favorites! We have a little saying around LoveFeast. Sometimes we say things are a “Both &” meaning when one or more things are accomplished at the same time….its a “Both &”.

We are big believers in finding and surrounding ourselves with art that inspires. Finding art for your home or office that inspires can make an impact on keeping you focused on your intentions. Beauty inspires us. We are attracted to art, that speaks to our soul.

Kristin and I have decorated our homes and home offices with things we have made that make us happy and keep us inspired. Whether it be inspiration boards, a colorful garland, a chalkboard drawing from one of our children, a piece of pottery from our travels, or handmade flowers and paper pinwheels. Each piece of art has meaning for us. My empty and chipped golden frames shown above is a collection of art that reminds me of the life that I inspire to create.

An Cuan~Ireland Decor

I just got back last week from a week in Ireland. My husband and I took two of our teenagers, Baker Boy and Zap with us. We went to Rostrevor, Ireland to help friends of ours start the process of opening a cafe. Ever since we closed the doors on Jahva House almost 10 years ago, we have dreamed of helping others open their own coffee shops. Needless to say, we were thrilled to have this opportunity to envision, brainstorm, create a business plan, design floor plans and decor, and share great meals and good pints with friends.

Our friends happen to live in a very big manor. The manor is broken up into flats and rooms for guests. There is so much space, even space for a cafe. But, seeing as I have a thing for beautiful homes, I couldn’t help but get pics of some of the home’s detail.

This is the front parlor.

And a painting that flanks it’s fire place.

Each fireplace was unique.

And the accessories in the house added to the whimsy of the home.

But, even with such rich detail, the interior of the home, paled in comparison to what Ireland itself had on display.

Beauty is in the small, carefully crafted details and in the majestic, sweeping scene.
