Here at our lifestyle blog,  LoveFeast Table we are going to inspire you to make changes in DECOR, STYLE, FEAST & sometimes even LIFE that will enrich you & your home.   By sharing a tip or trick or design idea that is easy, quick and simple might inspire you to get some things done that you might have been putting off or hadn’t thought of trying.  JUST ONE THING is just one idea idea for you to take away and execute.  If it’s a tip or trick or a thing that’s just not you, then pass on it.  But, here is a challenge for you, try it.  You just might like it.  It’s sort of like trying something  just for fun, that might not be your style, but ends up looking so, so great on you.  You won’t know until you try.  By adding JUST ONE THING at a time to your life, your look, your home and your cooking you will begin to see that not only is it easy, it’s going to be fun.

JUST ONE THING ~ Inspiration for getting it done!

You see, we are both extroverts. If you are Myers Briggs fans, you’ll understand that being an ENFP & ENFJ, we both kind of refill and recharge when we are with our friends. So we gather. We gather in real life at lake houses, conferences or the beach.

In our virtual life, we gather here, at our (virtual) table, LoveFeast Table. This is where conversations happen and we share a bit more about ourselves, design ideas, recipes we are loving, moments and memories, style tips, travel and so much more. We also like to have a guest join us from time to time. We have a saying, “Join us at the table or we’ll meet you at yours!” Basically, we want to get to know you!

We also have a slight obsession for Pinterest. (Don’t we all?!) Being very right brained, ENFP/ENFJ’s we love the visual. We learn and are often inspired by what we see. Pinterest is our place to go to get new ideas. We want to see your boards, to glean from you and see the world through your eyes. Our life perspective is only so big, which is why we adore seeing LIFE through the eyes of our friends.

Instagram is our spontaneous spot. This is where we share quick peeks into our every day lives just trying to capture the essence of living. Lives as moms are busy, so often times we find our friends on Instagram and have a simple way to connect to their everyday. We can see your babies growing, your homes evolving with paint and new art and even sample a bit of what you’re having for dinner.

We are grateful for our host, Ryan and Tina of Moss Envy.  Moss Envy is a sustainable living lifestyle store here in Minneapolis.  Both Ryan and Tina are knowledgeable and passionate about their business.  Our lovely hosts are excited to meet and connect with the local blogging community.  They will be rolling out the green carpet to welcome us there!

We don’t want to give away all our secrets.  But, many local business were happy and excited to reach out to our Twin Cities blogging community.  One of the fun bits in our swag bag is something really nice from Gust-o, a blow dry bar, right next door to Moss Envy.  With out giving too much away, let’s just say next time you want your hair to look absolutely fabulous – they’ve got you covered!!

For a few years, we have hosted BlogLove Networking Events in Minneapolis and Baltimore. If you’ve never heard of or attended a BlogLove Event, we wanted to show you what they’re all about.

Each event is unique! When we set out to create events, we knew we wanted our guests to walk away with a few things. One, to be inspired! Two, to experience something new and unique. Three, to connect with brands and last, to make great new friends!

Here’s a quick glimpse at some of our past events. Click the pictures to read more on each event.

Our First Event was BlogLove Zeke’s in Baltimore, (see our Pinterest board for additional inspiration: HERE) where our guests did an espresso tasting and toured a coffee roastery.

Then we headed up North to Minnesota and hosted BlogLove European Marketplace. (Pinterest board: HERE) This event was at a local antique store and spilled out into a lumber yard alley way. Our guests shopped, enjoyed hand massages from Aveda and noshed on homemade Spanish Caesar Salad straight from the LoveFeast Table Kitchen.

Later that year, we hosted a small group of bloggers at an Aveda store in the Twin Cities area. This was an intimate event where each of our guests was pampered and treated to an evening of spa pampering. (Pinterest board: HERE)

The following year, we invited bloggers from the Baltimore/DC area to join us at a trapeze studio for BlogLove Takes Flight (Pinterest board: HERE) where they heard the story of a woman who has spent her life exploring what it means to live life off of the ground.

Our last BlogLove Event was Spark & Style (Pinterest board:HERE) and was hosted at a clothing boutique in Minnesota. Our guests participated and watched a fashion show and were pampered with gifts from our sponsor Therapon while enjoying beats from a local DJ.

We want to let you in on a secret…we are busy planning a number of fabulous NEW BlogLove Events for 2013! We have it on pretty good authority that there may even be one at the end of next month, in Minneapolis.

This just happens to be one of my mom’s favorite quotes. Of course, she didn’t share it with me until I hit 21 and was pregnant with my first son. PARENT ‘HOOD can be hard, but also one of the most rewarding things in life.

Chris Ann and I happen to be in the midst of many stages of parenting…kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school and college. Yup! We have them in all ages and stages (except infancy and toddler…been there done that, 9 times over!) And we want to share a little more about that part of our journey with you…BUT, we want to hear your stories too!

So….drum roll please….we have teamed up with some other mamas, FriedOkra, Vita Familiae, To Think is To Create, Joy in this Journey, O My Family and Love Well. We are hosting a weekly synchroblog called PARENT ‘HOOD on Mondays.

Here’s the skinny:

*Write a post on anything to do with parenting, your tips, challenges, stories, memories, lists, photos, ins and outs and ups and downs. Use this as a writing prompt, if you will, to reflect, share and document your PARENT ‘HOOD journey.

*Link that post on Mondays through either LoveFeast Table, FriedOkra, Vita Familiae, To Think is to Create, Joy in this Journey, O My Family or Love Well. The link up will run Monday to the following Sunday and you can link your post up at any time throughout the week.

*Your post will automatically be linked to every site for tons of exposure and lots of fun!

What an amazing journey reading all the posts prompted by the 365 Gathered Thoughts box!!  We asked our amazing hostesses to share packs of quotes from the 365 Gathered Thoughts box found in our LoveFeast Shop, with other bloggers as a writing prompt.  Then, on March 19th ~64 bloggers all linked their posts in a Gathered Thoughts Link Party.  The outcome was a wonderful gathering of inspired posts!

What has happened with this writing prompt is everything that we have always wanted in our LoveFeast Community, real conversation, real encouragement to savor the beauty in life, and inspiration.

We don’t quite know how it happened.  We see it in the thoughtful and honest posts, the comments left to encourage, the “you’re doing it” cheers, the aha! moments and the time spent getting to know each other a little more.  We can only dream (and believe us we do!) of the places the intersections of these moments will take us together ~ a tear shared, a laugh out loud moment, a smile, a sigh and maybe more ~ all because we shared this conversation!

A conversation can be the beginning of something beautiful.
