This bolt of rag ribbon from Anthropologie just sits on my desk because it makes me smile.
There’s another yummy piece that came from Anthropologie that was given to me by my friend Diana over at True Character! She has her own darling shop…stop over and say hi for me!
She gave it to me because she wanted to see what I would do with it! It became home to all my scarves! It’s wall art!
Recently I read a book that has stayed with me. Ishmael Beah’s story, is one that inspired me but also left me looking at my life and what is truly important.
Since the beginning of the year, my husband and I have been doing a little detox. Soup has been our friend! I don’t know what I’d do without my immersion blender! You can puree a whole batch of soup without transferring it to a blender.
Another gadget that has gone straight to my head…
Cana, my sister, drew my name this year for Christmas! Yeah me!! She gave me a pocket full of treasures! Including this beaut of a leather bracelet!
She also gave me this coaster that has made it’s home next to my sofa.
Right before the holidays, I ventured to the Charm City Craft Mafia show with Our Daily Chocolate and another “soon to be blogger”…friend. I put it in my husband’s stocking. Doesn’t it just scream for a shot of espresso?!
This last little piece, is a piece I’ve had for years. It use to be in my daughter’s room when she was a baby. It’s been in storage for years. I re-discovered it and made it my necklace hanger!
