This just happens to be one of my mom’s favorite quotes. Of course, she didn’t share it with me until I hit 21 and was pregnant with my first son. PARENT ‘HOOD can be hard, but also one of the most rewarding things in life.
Chris Ann and I happen to be in the midst of many stages of parenting…kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school and college. Yup! We have them in all ages and stages (except infancy and toddler…been there done that, 9 times over!) And we want to share a little more about that part of our journey with you…BUT, we want to hear your stories too!
So….drum roll please….we have teamed up with some other mamas, FriedOkra, Vita Familiae, To Think is To Create, Joy in this Journey, O My Family and Love Well. We are hosting a weekly synchroblog called PARENT ‘HOOD on Mondays.

COMMUNITY~Being in the “Hood is all about knowing your neighbor and that you’re not alone in this journey. You may find you need someone who relates to your parenting challenges. You may need to celebrate what little Jimmy accomplished. Maybe you just want to read other mama’s stories and glean from what they’ve learned. We want the PARENT ‘HOOD to be a place where we encourage one another and make new and lasting friends.
