Aesop

The first time I came across the Aesop brand, was wandering the skinny streets of Southwark near the Borough Market in London, England.  It was a rainy, bone chilling day, in February, and I saw an interesting sign over a door and sought it out as a shelter.  As I opened the door, I was greeted with softly scented warmth and a cup of tea.  Moments later, after a hand wash at a sink and a warm towel, the shop girl begin to introduce me to the lovely creams and lotions. It wasn't long before I landed on what insists on being a … [Read more...]

JUST ONE THING

Do you ever feel like you don't know where to begin?  Do you get the feeling like there are too many tabs in the files in your brain and you don't know where to start?  Well, sometimes we do too.  I once read a book that said before you do the fun stuff, you should do the important stuff first, like eating your vegetables before dessert.  But, what if your to-do's both moved you forward and also were fun?  What if you just had "JUST ONE THING" to do that would begin to make an incremental change in you, your style, your … [Read more...]

Your Perfect Clutch – Hammitt Bags

I'm the type of person who strives to pack light.  I say strives because if you asked my husband he might just roll his eyes.  Recently, I was looking for a bag specifically for a trip to St. Thomas.  I wanted to travel light.  I wanted my bag to go from casual to dressy. I was thinking a clutch would be nice, because I wanted to be able to pop it in my beach tote and then carry it to cocktails and dinner later. If possible I wanted the ability to be hands free.  Oh, and I needed to get one more formal night out of … [Read more...]
