Putting together a beautiful table is one our favorite things to do. We think gathering at the table is a beautiful event, worthy of some extra attention to details, whether it is a simple salad outdoors…
or candle-lit dining at the table, taking time to enjoy some food and conversation is one of life’s best moments to savor.
That’s why FEAST is such a big theme here at LoveFeast Table. A beautiful TABLE would not be as memorable without delicious food to gather around. This Fancy Friday is all about the food blogs we love that inspire by sharing good food and recipes.
So many make our favorite food blog list, but one we have to start with our foodie friend, Greg ~ Sippity Sup. He charmed us from the beginning. It didn’t take us long to hunt him out of the blog crowd for his classic clean approach to food with a hint of whimsy. He’s all about quality. Last summer we asked him to help with some summertime libation-inspiration. He created a “themed summer cocktail” for us! The Tinkled Pink Tropical Island Iced Tea will always remind us of Kristin’s front porch, pink boas and an unseen vlog where this Minnesotan channels her inner southern belle! Yes, before this drink we were Sippity Sup stalkers and maybe that got him worried ~ he was either killing us with kindness when he agreed to the assignment or just trying to plain out kill us. (Don’t let the color pink fool ya’ this drink is deadly!) His comments always leave us a chuckle, his drink…well let’s just say it attempted to put LoveFeast Table, under the table!!
Another one of our FEAST favs is Ryan ~ This Is Reverb. Ryan is a passionate photographer, life-liver, and cook. In 2009 we created a challenge just for him, the TakeOn Challenge with LoveFeast Table. We sent him a mystery ingredient he had to cook something savory with and he created Chocolate Samurai Wings. We whipped up our own dish too, Savory Chocolate Glazed Salmon. The winner? We just don’t know yet! Cheers to Ryan ~ Check out his blog This Is Reverb for real-life good eats and tutorials.
A very good foodie friend from Kristin’s home town and the winner of our GE Momsperience trip was Wendi from Bon Appetite Hon. She has a quality food blog that will inspire you to pull out a pan and spoon and get creating in the kitchen. She’s a fun partner in the kitchen and looks mighty stylish in a derby hat!
Steph ~ Fresh Tart ~ is a talented Minneapolis based food blogger and writer. She has shared her talents as a guest at our table for our 1st Annual Cookie Exchange in 2010. Her yummy Almond Triangle Cookies would be lovely any time of year. We’re happy to send you her way to see what delicious and nutritious feasts are happening in her kitchen.
What about you? What are your favorite food blogs? Where do you get your kitchen inspiration? We’d love to hear ~ please leave a comment or link up your Fancy Friday Favorite Food Blogs.
